Uzbekistan’s lemon exports rose by 681 tons in the first quarter of 2023 from the same period last year, with Uzbekistan exporting 2,200 tons worth $1.8 million.
The Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan projected a growth of 5.5% in GDP by the end of the first quarter of this year 2023, and the growth of industry, agriculture and retail and construction turnover.
Forecasts revealed inflation fell from 2.9% to 2.4% and foreign trade increased by 11.9%.
Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were the top importers of limes from Uzbekistan.
