Official statistics revealed that the volume of trade between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan increased from January to April 2023 by 7% year on year.
Official data said the trade volume between the two countries was $1.5 billion higher than last year 2022.
Uzbekistan’s exports to Kazakhstan amounted to $426.8 million, an increase of 16.4 per cent over the same period last year 2022.
Kazakh exports to Uzbekistan totalled $1.08 billion, up 4% from last year.
Kazakhstan’s share in the total volume of trade for Uzbekistan from January to April 2023 was 7.7 per cent.
