The President of Tajikistan opened a military vehicle assembly plant to strengthen the country’s defence industries.
The activities of Sipar Guruh, or Shield Group, are mainly geared towards the production of military vehicles, but have the ability to manufacture civilian engines.
Sipar Guruh has the ability to assemble up to 17 different types of vehicles with imported components, but plans to increase production in the future.
STREIT Group produces assembly parts based in the United Arab Emirates, and the company’s projected annual production is 120 units.
In the same vein, the authorities are promoting the opening of this new assembly plant as a bold achievement in promoting Tajikistan’s industrial agenda. It will provide work for 100 people.
