Acwua Power signed a preliminary agreement for the construction of a $1.5 billion wind and energy storage plant in Kazakhstan to supplement what was agreed in March.
Acwua Power signed the agreement with the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and the country’s sovereign wealth fund, and the project’s capacity is expected to reach one gigawatt.
This agreement is the first for the company in Kazakhstan and aims to support the Kingdom’s strategic plans in the field of transition towards clean energy and contribute to efforts to protect the environment and reduce climate change.
