The Qatar Chamber and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan signed a joint business council agreement.
The establishment of the Joint Business Council is aimed at facilitating communication between the parties; To increase trade and economic cooperation between the two countries by providing communication mechanisms between the two countries’ business owners and exchanging information on trade and economic cooperation.
It also aims to strengthen cooperation between the private sector of the two countries in the various areas of trade, investment, technology transfer, services, industrial and other sectors, as well as to encourage businessmen to participate in exhibitions held in the State of Qatar and the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting discussed cooperation relations between the two sides and ways to strengthen them in the interest of the two countries’ economies. The investment climate in the two countries and opportunities were also reviewed, and mutual investments and joint projects could be promoted in Qatar and Tajikistan.
Qatar Chamber encourages Qatari businessmen to invest in Tajikistan as a promising destination for investment opportunities.
