Uzbekistan recorded a rise in the import of electric vehicles, reaching 3,816 electric vehicles from 10 foreign countries for $120 million.
The statistics added that imports of electric vehicles in Uzbekistan increased by 2,846 in April compared to January-May 2022.
Uzbekistan also imported 876 electric vehicles from foreign countries, according to the Uzbek Statistics Agency from January to May 2023.
Imports of electric vehicles have increased almost 4 times over the same period last year.
