Tesla has reduced the prices of its luxury car models in China by no more than 4.5 percent, following the decision to distribute cash subsidies to some buyers of its third-model cars last month.
The local website of the car manufacturer stated that all types of cars of the “S” and”X” models will be reduced by 35 thousand yuan (4.8 thousand dollars ) to 45 thousand yuan, as quoted by “Bloomberg”.
The initial price of the “S” model will be reduced to 773,900 yuan and the “X” model to 988,900 yuan, according to the website.
The price reduction and the monetary support, estimated at 8,000 yuan, paid, with its most popular models, in China, is another proof of Tesla’s determination to support sales in the world’s largest and most competitive electric car market.
