Uzbekistan has revealed its intention to establish major agro-machinery assembly plants in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
The Vice-Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, in a visit to agricultural machinery companies in the city of Cherchek in the Tashkent region, announced this huge project.
The Ministry asserted that the project was aimed at expanding industrial cooperation, thus planning to establish large-scale agro-machinery assembly plants in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Noting that negotiations with partners are already in the final phase.
On the other hand, the Tashkent Tractor Complex’s consolidated project cost was $65 million.
The ministry expected the project to generate an annual net profit of $16.5 million.
