The Saudi Ministry of Commerce said on Sunday that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Japan amounted to 657.2 billion riyals (175.25 billion dollars) in the last 5 years.
According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, the volume of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Japan increased by 42% during 2022 on an annual basis, jumping to 178 billion riyals (47.47 billion dollars), compared to 125.3 billion riyals (33.41 billion dollars) in 2021.
The Ministry of Commerce pointed out that the kingdom ranks 8th in the list of trading partners of Japan globally.
His Excellency the prime minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, arrived in Jeddah today on an official visit to the kingdom.
