Official statistics revealed, Uzbekistan’s industrial production reached 25.304 billion dollars from January to June 2023, which is 5.6 percent higher than during the same period last year ٢٠٢٢.
According to statistics, the processing industry experienced a growth of 6.3 percent year-on-year, while the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning sectors increased by 9.9 percent.
This upward trend in industrial production is evident in all regions of Uzbekistan, where the processing industry is emerging as the main engine of growth and significantly contributes to the overall structure of the industrial sector.
