3.717 million tons of Arab liquefied gas exports to Japan, South Korea, China and Taiwan

The report of Petroleum developments in the global markets of the organization “OAPEC” stated that the exports of Arab countries of liquefied natural gas to Japan, South Korea, China and Taiwan amounted to about 3.717 million tons during April 2023, accounting for a share of 27.2% of the total.

The report pointed out that the average monthly spot price of natural gas registered at the Henry Center in the US market during May 2023 decreased to 2.15 dollars per million British thermal units.

The report continued that the average import prices of liquefied natural gas in Japan during April 2023 decreased by 1.57 dollars per million British thermal units, reaching 13.42 dollars per million British thermal units.

The report added that the average import prices of liquefied natural gas in South Korea decreased by 4.19 dollars per million British heat units to reach 13.43 dollars per million British heat units, the average import prices of liquefied natural gas in China decreased by 0.09 dollars per million British heat units to reach 11.71 dollars per million British heat units, and the average import prices of liquefied natural gas in Taiwan decreased by 3.1 dollars per million British heat units to reach 11.09 dollars per million British heat units.
