Kazakhstan’s Office of National Statistics data showed on Monday that wheat stock stood at 4.77 million tons, as of August 1, 2023, almost twice as high as last year’s stock, which was equivalent to 2.45 million tons.
According to Statistics Bureau data, stocks fell by 590 thousand tons compared to July 2023.
At the end of July 2023, grain and pulses were generally stocked at about 5.94 million tons in Kazakhstan, compared to 3.06 million tons as of August 1, 2023.
In particular, barley stock was 889 thousand tons, roundabout 24,000 tons and oats 60 thousand tons.
