Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan sell jewellery to third State

The Association of Jewelry Workers announced the negotiation of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan to sell jewelry to third countries.

Tugrol Abbasguliev, President of the General Assembly, “Azerbaijani Association of Jewellers”, said that the General Assembly had been cooperating with the Confederation of the Jewellery Industry of Uzbekistan for three years, in which context sales to third countries could be carried out.

He said: “We have very fruitful cooperation. Azerbaijani jewellery brands were introduced at exhibitions and festivals under way in Uzbekistan. We held a number of business forums and made a number of proposals to Uzbekistan. One of them is to display our brands in shopping malls in Uzbekistan. This will lead to the mainstreaming of our brands and the wide representation of jewellery in the export basket. “

Uzbekistan is one of the world’s largest gold producers. Jewellery produced in Azerbaijan using Uzbek rough gold is planned for export to third countries.
