Kazakhstan’s daily oil production rose to 234.3 thousand tons on Sunday, 20 August, according to Bloomberg news agency on Monday.
This compares with the production of 232 1,000 tons on the 10th of the same month, the day before the closure of a unit at the Mangistau power plant, resulting in a partial disruption of electricity supply, according to data from the Ministry of Energy’s special unit.
Bloomberg reported that daily production of crude oil and gas condensate in the country reached 223.5 thousand tons on August 18, the day local authorities announced the completion of repair work at the Mangistau power plant unit and the lifting of restrictions on electricity supplies.
Total production reached 209.3 thousand tons on August 3.
