South Korea’s economy grew at a slightly faster pace in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the first quarter, according to preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Korea on Tuesday.
According to the Qatar News Agency, South Korea’s real GDP, a key measure of economic growth, increased by 0.6%, on a quarterly basis, during the April-June period.
Growth in the second quarter is 0.3% higher than the first quarter, and on an annualized basis, the country’s economy grew by 0.9% in the second quarter, and also grew by the same percentage in the first quarter as well.
