Kazakhstan’s grain exports through the railway network “KTZ” increased by 40% to 6.3 million tons during the first eight months of this year.
The statement of the Kazakh railway operator “KTZ” explained that about 7.4 million tons of grain were transported through the network lines, which is an increase of 29% in the period from January to the end of August last year.
In general, the total transportation of ground products increased by 16.5% to 1.9 million tons, of which about 1.5 million tons were exported abroad.
Central Asian countries, Iran and China were the main markets that accounted for most of Kazakhstan’s exports since the beginning of this year.
