The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with the owners of the Qatari Power International Holding Company, Ramiz Al-Khayyat and Moataz Al-Khayyat.
During the meeting, Tokayev stressed that the Qatari-based conglomerate could become a driving force in establishing economic relations between Kazakhstan and Qatar.
The parties discussed the possibility of cooperating in the fields of energy and geological investigation. They also reviewed the potential for agricultural cooperation, the implementation of development initiatives, and healthcare.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that comprehensive measures are being taken in Kazakhstan to develop the economy, and all conditions are being created to attract foreign direct investment.
