Kergystan’s Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration said that the number of unemployed people registered with employment services reached 95,900 as of September 1.
The number of unemployed people is 4.7%, according to the “AKIpress” news agency.
Last year, the number of registered job searchers was 72,000, or 5.1%.
Earlier, the socio-economic outlook for 2024–2028 showed that Kyrgyzstan’s economic growth in 2023 is expected to be 4.5%, or 1.078 trillion soms.
Positive dynamics in investment activity, personal income, and wages, gradual relaxation of borrowing requirements and growth in lending to the economy, and a good labor market scenario accompanied by a positive migrant influx are all needed for development.
