Tajikistan’s National Bank President Hakim Khalikzade and Minister of Finance Fayzuddin Khorzoda met with representatives of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, where they discussed the main reforms of the government of Tajikistan with international financial institutions.
The National Bank of Tajikistan noted that the parties discussed the economic situation of the country during interesting and useful talks.
The parties expressed their views on investment issues, especially the implementation of state investment projects in energy and other sectors of the real economy, and expressed interest in further developing and strengthening cooperation in other relevant areas.
During the meetings, the parties discussed the main reforms of the government of Tajikistan proposed by international financial organizations.
