Turkmenistan imported mineral products worth 9.28 million euros from EU nations between January and July of this year, according to the “Kazinform” international news agency.
These results for the reporting period are 45.4 percent higher than the previous year’s first seven months (6.38 million euros).
Turkmenistan imported mineral goods from the EU worth 1.63 million euros in July 2023, 3.1 times (517,653 euros) higher than in June 2023 (517,653 euros).
In the meantime, Turkmenistan raised its imports from EU nations by 20.4 percent in the first seven months of this year compared to the same period last year (318.43 million euros), totaling 383.5 million euros.
The previous year’s commercial transaction between Turkmenistan and EU nations totaled 1 billion euros, a 25.9 percent decrease from 2021, when it stood at 1.35 billion euros.
