Saudi Arabia looks forward to attracting foreign investors from all nationalities by offering them all possible facilities, as well as focusing on attracting tourists from all over the world.
The Saudi Ministry of Investment announced on Monday the granting of a “visiting investor” visa to businessmen.
The Ministry announced its launch in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the second phase of the business visa issuance service “visiting investor” electronically to include the rest of the world, according to a Saudi state news agency.
“The provision of this service to investors from abroad is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to realize the aspirations of investment sectors aligned with Vision 2030, aimed at attracting more segments of investors from around the world, “improving the investment environment, and facilitating the start-up of business, with a focus on attracting major qualitative investments due to their effective role in driving the economy,” the Saudi Ministry of Investment noted.
“A “visiting investor” aimed at allowing foreign investors and foreign enterprise workers to apply for an e-visitor visa through the platform of the Ministry of Investment “Invest in Saudi Arabia“, to process the application and issue the visa digitally from the unified National Visa Platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, without the need to review the Kingdom’s representations abroad to take vital features,” said the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment for Integrated Investor Services, Mohamed Abba Hussein.
“The visa can be used for up to one year, with multiple admissions, and a number of beneficiaries can obtain the visa immediately for the purpose of visiting the Kingdom and accessing investment opportunities,” Abba Hussein added.
