Kyrgyzstan’s credit companies issued Microfinance loans of about 37 billion som to 533 thousand people from January to September this year, according to data from the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The number of people using Microfinance loans in Kyrgyzstan increased by 12% compared to last year, and the number of funds issued increased by 29%.
“Borrowers spent nearly half of the loans on consumers’ needs and more than 23% on the development of agricultural activities,” according to data from the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The timely loan repayment level was 90.9%, which is two percent lower than last year.
