Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy reported a 56% drop in oil production in major fields.
“At present, the decline in production in the country’s large fields is 56%,” Shyngys Ilyasov, advisor to the Kazakh energy minister, said.
In particular, Tenguez’s daily oil production fell by almost half to 39 thousand tons due to weather conditions and restrictions on oil receipt at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has no data on how long the situation can return to normal.
“In the near future, the reduction and adjustment of production will remain at current levels,” the Ministry said.
