Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said on Tuesday that the Republic aims to double Kazakhstan’s national economy to $450 billion by 2029.
“To achieve this goal, Kazakhstan needs to launch a new investment cycle that will become a central element of the country’s economic growth,” said President Kazakh.
“Last week, I signed a decree on enhancing the efficiency of work on attracting investments. Henceforth, the Investment Office will focus on the rapid and unhindered implementation of projects,” Tokayev added.
Furthermore, the Investment Office has been granted the right to formulate normative legal conduct that has the force of law.
