Saudi Arabia’s annual inflation rose in November, driven by higher prices for housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels.
Saudi Arabia’s consumer price index rose 1.7% year-on-year last November, compared with 1.6% in October.
Housing rent prices have been the biggest influence on inflation over the past November, with actual housing rents in Saudi Arabia rising 9.4% year-on-year.
Food and beverage prices rose 1.4% in November.
On a monthly basis, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in November recorded a 0.2% rise over last October, as housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels rose 1.3%.
