China announced the extension of the exemption of some US goods from tariffs.
The Tariff Commission of the State Council of China said that China will continue to exempt some US goods from additional tariffs until July next year.
The commission added that after the extension, the exemption of these US goods from Chinese customs countermeasures will continue until July 31, 2024.
According to a previous statement issued in May this year, some goods coming from the United States have been exempted from China’s counter-customs measures in the face of measures taken by Washington under Article 301 of the US Trade code, until December 31, 2023.
