The Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, “TAQA,” has entered into an agreement with General Exploration Partners to sell its entire stake in the Atroosh oil field in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
In a statement to the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, Energy said it had entered into sales agreements through its subsidiary “Energy International B” while noting that the deal is subject to approval from third parties.
The company did not mention the value of the deal or its ownership percentage in the field.
The agreement was made through the company “Energy International B” which is a subsidiary fully owned by the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, according to “Reuters”.
Earlier this month, “Taqeya” announced its victory in securing a 30-year contract to construct the independent strategic water reservoir of Ja’ranah in the Mecca region of Saudi Arabia, with a cost of 1.5 billion dirhams.
Energy disclosed to the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange that the Saudi Water Partnerships Company has chosen the offer presented by its alliance, which includes Vision Investment Company “Vision Investment” in Saudi Arabia and Gulf Investment Corporation in Kuwait.
