The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone has attracted the specialized Japanese company, “Tokai Optical,” which manufactures medical lenses.
The company has rented a warehouse with a total area of about 4,300 square feet, with an initial investment value of 8 million dirhams.
Saud Salem Al Mazroui, Director of the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, said: “The attraction of ‘Tokai Optical’ reflects the added value provided by the zone to global companies and the ideal environment for investors, with its privileges, quality services, and great flexibility for conducting business and expanding.”
He confirmed that the presence of “Tokai Optical” enhances the growth and development of the industrial and medical sectors in the UAE in general, and Sharjah in particular.
Kurt Lauridsen, CEO of “Tokai Optix,” said that the business-friendly environment in the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone is one of the main factors behind the company’s decision to establish a presence in the region, considering that the company’s goal is to expand into global markets and reach new and diverse consumer segments, which the free zone provides.
Lauridsen praised the specialized and diverse services and facilities provided by the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone for his company.(WAM)
