The platform cites a recent survey that found 85 percent of professionals are considering changing their jobs by 2024.

LinkedIn recognizes that building and maintaining a professional network requires a significant time commitment. Nearly a quarter of the surveyed individuals spend between 6 to 10 hours per week on communication activities.

The new platform utilizes artificial intelligence advantages to enhance communication efficiency.

This includes a redesigned network tab. The Grow and Catch Up sections aim to assist users in expanding their network and staying constantly informed about current communications.

The Grow section utilizes artificial intelligence algorithms to assist users in managing their communications and finding new relevant contacts. It provides personalized suggestions through the People You May Know feature.

The Catch Up department urges users to reconnect to their network based on updates, such as job changes, work anniversaries, new appointments, or birthdays. This aims to encourage more beneficial interactions among users.

LinkedIn introduced a feature as part of its Premium subscription that assists users in composing introductory messages to solve the “blank page problem” that many face when starting conversations on the platform.

The tool provides draft messages designed for both parties by integrating information from accounts, and users can customize those drafts to reflect their wants and conversation goals.

LinkedIn expects participation and interactions to increase in 2024, considering that there will be over 5 billion connections made on the platform in 2023.
