In a bid to boost its advertising revenue, Pinterest has announced a new advertising deal with Google.
This comes after Amazon signed a multi-year deal with the social media platform last year.
Pinterest has been struggling with lower-than-expected revenues, causing a drop of approximately 28% in its stock.
However, it rebounded after CEO Bill Reidy announced the partnership with Google.
Reidy revealed that the platform has been rolling out the new advertising integration over the past few weeks and is already seeing positive results.
“This partnership is focused on generating income from several of our international non-cash markets by enabling Pinterest ads through Google Ads Manager,” said Reidy.
The collaboration with Google, which is now Pinterest’s second advertising partner after Amazon, aims to drive advertising revenue growth for the platform.
Both companies are hopeful that this deal will be mutually beneficial and help Pinterest regain its financial footing in the market.
As Pinterest continues to expand its presence and offerings, this advertising agreement with Google is expected to play a vital role in increasing the platform’s advertising reach and profitability.
