Tajikistan hopes to create a production and technological alliance with Central Asian countries, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqi Zavqizoda said at the economic conference in Dushanbe.
“It is important to expand the agenda between our countries through forward-looking areas such as innovative and digital cooperation, artificial intelligence, and the gradual increase in e-commerce turnover,” Zavqizoda said.
“The countries of the region can talk about creating a complete technological and production union of Central Asia,” he added.
“The region has a great advantage, the potential of which should be fully used,” the minister emphasized.
In this regard, Zavqi Zavqizoda proposed to develop an action plan to increase the contribution of the digital economy.
Zavqizoda pointed out the importance of training specialists in the fields of information technology and infrastructure development.
The economic forum of the Central Asian countries on the topic ‘Digital economy, digital trade, and innovation’ is dedicated to the fifth meeting of the heads of state of the region.
Ministers of economic development and trade of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan took part in this event.
