The Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture said in a press release that the Turkish company “Alarko” will invest about 650 million dollars in the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan in the next five years, according to Reuters.
The statement said that the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture and Alarko Holding signed a memorandum of understanding that will give impetus to joint projects.
“Alarko” also plans to build greenhouses, the total area of which will be 500 hectares, the construction of which will begin in 2023 and the first stage of which will be completed in 2024.
