In recent years, China’s automotive industry has made strides towards the global market.
The 20th Changchun International Auto Show, held in Changchun, Jilin province, is home to China’s automotive industry, attracted local and international automakers.
The demand for Chinese cars in the global market is relatively strong, therefore, many Chinese brands overseas work better.
Analysts believe that the superiority in the quality of China’s automotive industry and its technology is gradually emerging, as the export of self-developed Chinese branded cars continues to grow strongly.
According to statistics from China’s Automobile Manufacturers Association, in the first half of 2023, Chinese vehicle exports were 2.14 million, an estimated 75.7 per cent increase, compared with the same period last year.
China is likely to become the world’s largest auto exporter this year.
According to the report, Chinese cars received a high turnout in Africa, where Chinese automobile companies help locals increase their income and improve their livelihoods.
In light of this, Wu Wei, from Great Wall Motors Automotive Industry, said, “China’s self-developed brands continue to promote research and development in automotive technology.”
