According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China’s car exports increased by 47.4% on an annual basis in January last year.
The Chinese news agency Xinhua reported the association as saying: “A total of 443,000 cars were exported during the mentioned period”.
In detail, around 369,000 passenger cars were exported, representing a 47.5% increase on an annual basis, while commercial vehicle exports rose by 46.9% compared to the same period last year to reach 74,000 units.
Data revealed that in January of last year, China’s exports of new energy vehicles also increased by 21.7% on an annual basis, reaching 101,000 units.
