The Russian Space Agency “Ross Cosmos” announced the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the peaceful exploration of space between Russia and Tajikistan.
In a statement reported by the media, the Foundation stated that Russia and Tajikistan had agreed to cooperate in the peaceful exploration of space, and a cooperation agreement had been signed. “
The statement added: “In the framework of the working visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan to Russia and at the Great Palace of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Moscow, an agreement on cooperation in space affairs was signed yesterday between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the parties stressed that the Convention would help to explore and use outer space for peaceful purposes.”
The Foundation noted that the signing of the Convention would contribute to a rapid transition to the practical implementation of Russia-Tajik cooperation in the areas of research and exploration for outer space, and that the responsibility for the implementation of the Convention would fall upon it and the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
