Informed sources in India reported that the demand for diesel and gasoline in the country stabilized during last June, compared to the previous month.
Last month, diesel sales reached 7.12 million tons, a slight increase of 0.4 percent compared to May. On an annual basis, diesel sales fell 3.7 percent, according to “Bloomberg”.
Gasoline sales stabilized on a month-on-month basis in June, but increased 3.4 percent year-on-year.
Sales of aviation fuel last month decreased by 2.4 percent on a monthly basis, reaching 587 thousand tons, but increased on an annual basis by 6 percent.
Sales of LPG oil fell 3.4 percent month-on-month in June to 3.5 million tons, but declined year-on-year by 0.8 percent.
