The Egyptian Businessmen Association and the Uzbek Chamber of industry and Commerce signed a partnership agreement to establish a joint Business Council, via video conference technology.
Mansurbek kilichev, ambassador of Uzbekistan in Cairo, said that the establishment of a joint Business Council between the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Uzbekistan and the Egyptian Businessmen Association aims to exploit the economic potential and available resources that characterize the two countries, through exchanging visits and discussing opportunities for cooperation in economic sectors and fields.
Egyptian ambassador to Tashkent Amira Fahmy said that the agreement is a true translation of the final statement issued by the Uzbek President’s visit to Egypt to strengthen relations between the two countries, stressing the embassy’s readiness to provide assistance to this Agreement and overcome any obstacles facing the task of the council and the business community to increase trade exchange.
Ali Issa, president of the Egyptian Businessmen Association, said that the agreement is the beginning of the right way to increase the volume of investments and trade between the two countries, announcing the association’s support for the establishment of an Uzbek logistics center to serve the Egyptian and Uzbek markets and access to the markets of Africa.
