Oil prices rose by about one dollar per barrel at settlement on Monday, influenced by concerns that tensions in the Middle East and the Russo-Ukrainian war would curb global supplies.
Brent crude futures rose 66 cents or 0.9 percent at settlement to $77.99 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate futures rose 50 cents or 0.7 percent to $72.78 per barrel, and both crude oils achieved gains for the first time in four sessions. (Reuters)
