New official data revealed that China’s daily oil refinery consumption rose 1.6% from a month earlier as refineries resumed
Data from the National Bureau of Statistics revealed that the total refinery consumption rate in the world’s second largest oil consumer was 60.95 million metric tons last month, equivalent to 14.83 million barrels per day.
Last June’s figures represent a marginal increase from the 14.6 million barrels per day (bpd) recorded last month, but were up 10.2% the same period last year.
During the first half of this year, China conducted operations on 363.6 million metric tons of crude oil, or 14.44 barrels per day, with a 9.9% increase.
