japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry data released on Wednesday revealed that Japan’s industrial output fell last April by 0.4% per month after seasonal variables were calculated, while analysts expected it to rise 0.5% after rising 0.5% in March.
On an annual basis, last month’s industrial output fell 0.3% after falling 0.6% over the previous month.
With the publication of industrial output data, the Ministry maintained its assessment of industrial output and stated that there were indications of a moderate recovery of industrial output.
Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry expects industrial output to grow by 1.9% in May and 1.2% in June.
