Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister, Alikhan Smailov, met Qatar’s Ambassador to the nation, Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al Rumaihi, expressing that Qatar is an important economic partner of Kazakhstan in the Arab world.
“We are interested in increasing the potential that we have,” Smailov stated, expressing his excitement about a number of attractive projects in the agro-industrial complex that Kazakhstan and Qatar may accomplish jointly.
Kazakhstan and Qatar may collaborate to build a $200 million grain processing factory in the Akmola area.
The parties are negotiating the concept and parameters of the cooperation.
Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister said that the republic has everything in place to expand business and is willing to help.
