The Kazakh Presidential Palace “Akorda” official website published a list of conventions signed at the Climate Summit (COP28) in the UAE.
During the summit, a number of agreements were signed between government agencies and business structures in Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, attended by the Kazakh President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

intergovernmental agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates on the implementation of the 1 GW wind farm construction project.- agreement between the National Company of Kazatombrom and Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation on the transfer of natural uranium concentrates.
- Memorandum of understanding between the Kazakhstan Investment Corporation and Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) on strategic partnership.
- agreement for the establishment of a joint venture between the national company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” and Abu Dhabi Ports Group.
- Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and the joint stock company Samruk-Kazyna and the Ministry of Investments of the United Arab Emirates on the development of a total capacity of 10 GW in Kazakhstan.
- Agreement on investments in the implementation of the project Development, Construction, and Operation of a 1 GW Total Power Plant Using a 300 MW/600 MW/h Cumulative Battery System in the Territory of Merni Village in Zhambyl Region’ between ACTAS and Total Energy.
- agreement between Samruk-Kazyna and Aqua Power on the joint development of a 1 GW wind power plant construction project through the energy-saving system.
- agreement between Samruk-Kazyna and PrebrightAI on the establishment of a joint venture to implement projects in the area of digitization and information technology.
- Memorandum of understanding between KazMunayGas and AD Ports Group on the establishment of a shipbuilding project in Kazakhstan.
