Kazakhstan’s Minister of Energy Almadam Satkaliev stressed that the transport of Russian gas to Uzbekistan through his country is very important.
His country was in discussions about the possibility of transporting Russian gas to Uzbekistan, and the outcome of the discussions would be announced.
On the other hand, the construction of a gas pipeline from Russia through Kazakhstan’s northern territory to China was also under discussion.
He revealed that the direction and route of the gas line had been initially determined. The terms of construction of the gas pipeline were also negotiated.
