Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population said that there are over 14,000 foreign workers employed in the country with permits from local executive bodies, citing that the majority of these workers are in the construction, agriculture, mining, and manufacturing sectors.
IRS is now used by 1,424 enterprises in Kazakhstan. More than 474.4 thousand Kazakhstanis work for them, accounting for 97% of the total number of employees.
China is the most common country of origin for foreign workers in Kazakhstan, accounting for 3,771 people. Uzbekistan has 2,002 people (26.2%). 1,370 people from Turkey (9.2%), 1,363 people from India. (9.4%).
The Kazakh government has established a quota of 22,260 foreign employees who can work in the nation in 2023. This limit is intended to preserve the domestic labor market.
