The head of the trade committee of the Kazakh grain Federation, Oleksandr Malov, announced that Kazakh grain exports increased to a record 11 million tons.
Malov said that exports will reach 11 million tons by the first of September 2023, which is a very record volume in relation to the past decades.
Referring to official statistics, during the 10 months of the previous season, Kazakhstan exported 10.32 million tons of grain, which is an increase of 33% year-on-year.
The largest importers of Kazakh grain this season were Uzbekistan with about 4.13 million tons, Afghanistan with about 1.97 million tons, Tajikistan with about 1.06 million tons and China with about 1.03 million tons.
