The director of the transportation department of KazTransOil JSC, Abai Beisembayev, announced that the volume of Kazakh oil exports to Germany via Transneft’s main oil pipeline system will increase to 154 thousand tons.
“Despite the difficult weather conditions in the Black Sea, KazTransOil JSC is fully fulfilling its obligations to shippers. Delivery of 100 thousand tons of oil is planned for Germany, but by the end of the month, the volume of Kazakh oil transport via Transnfet’s main oil pipeline system will reach the direction of the Adamova Zastava oil delivery point, and further delivery to Germany will reach 154 thousand tons,” Bismbayev said.
“KazTransOil JSC had taken 55 thousand tons of oil for storage, including 23 thousand tons of oil from Karachaganak Petroleum Co. V.F. ‘and 32 thousand tons of oil from oil producers in the Kashajan field,” he added.
Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated in September that his country is ready to enhance oil supply to Germany following meetings with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin.
KazTransOil JSC confirmed its technical capacity to supply 1.2 million tons of Kazakh oil annually towards the Adamova Zastava oil delivery point for further transport to Germany, but the actual quantities of oil transport depend on the oil companies’ orders.
