The Kazakh Ministry of Energy announced that the government intends to supply 100 thousand tons of oil to Germany during August 2023 using the Druzhba oil pipeline, according to”Interfax”.
The ministry added that the oil pumping station in Bolshoy Chagan received 11,600 tons of oil between August 3 and 5, and the remaining amount will be received from August 6 to 29.
Kazakhstan had transported 290,000 tons of oil to Germany by early July, and 1.2 million tons of Kazakh oil company KazTransOil”” will be pumped in 2023 to Germany, the first batch of which was shipped in February 2023.
Kazakh crude is transported via the Druzhba pipeline to the oil refinery in Schwedt, Germany, which was owned by the Russian company Rosneft but was acquired by Germany during September 2022.
