Kazakh Energy Minister almadam satkaliev said on Tuesday that his national ministry does not see significant risks to Kazakh oil exports, amid the tense situation at the Black Sea ports, as reported by “Interfax”.
On the sidelines of a Government Meeting held today, satkaliev said that Kazakh oil is being transported through Russian territory, and the ministry can confirm that the CPC pipeline does not face any risks at the moment.
“The Atyrau – Samara Pipeline pumps oil to Europe, Kazakhstan has already sent oil to German refineries, so today there are no significant risks threatening national crude exports,”the minister continued.
This comes after the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said that from July 21, all ships in the Black Sea waters heading to Russian ports will be suspected of transporting military cargo.
