Kazakhstan’s construction industry grew by more than 5.9 trillion tenge in the first 11 months of 2023, a 12.6% increase over the same time in 2022.
The rise in construction activity volume is attributed to an increase in facility construction and maintenance (+24.9%) and non-residential structures (+6.8%).
Private enterprises conducted 87.3% of building work, foreign corporations performed 12.5%, and state-run companies performed 0.2%.
The construction of non-residential structures (19.5%), highways (14.8%), and residential constructions (14.2%) received the most attention.
The overall area of newly commissioned buildings in January–November 2023 was 17,296,800 square meters.
