Kazakhstan produced 118,300 tons of fresh and chilled poultry meat from January to October, a 26.8% increase over the previous year.
Poultry meat prices increased by 0.3% month over month and 1.4% year over year in October.
Poultry meat prices increased in 12 of Kazakhstan’s 20 regions, with Astana seeing the biggest price increases of 13.6%, followed by West Kazakhstan and Ulytau at 9.7% and 9%, respectively.
The remaining eight regions reported lower poultry meat costs.
The Aktobe region in Kazakhstan had the greatest decrease in poultry meat costs.
